I created a graphic slide-sized and added it to my presentation when i step through and it get to that slide the slide is milky? hazed out? I tried arrange>bring to front and it's still like that. I think I'm missing a step for properly converting the graphic to a slide maybe?

Hi Kevin thanks for posting in the Lucid Community - I'm happy to help! Can you please clarify what steps you've taken to export your Lucidspark board and what presentation tool you've uploaded it to? Did you export your entire board as a whole or only a portion? A description of the exact steps you've taken here will help me to better understand the issue. Additionally if you're willing to share would you please respond with a screenshot of the problem with this slide so that I can take a closer look?

Hi Micah

I'm seeing a similar result to Kevin

I'm using Timelines on a Lucidspark board and when I create slides they show in the presentation builder Present mode as if they have an  opaque layer over the top.  See image below.

Regards

Paul

Addie,

My students have this problem every semester, including this one.  Do we have a solution for this?

Hi @Ken Novak, thank you for chiming in this thread! I am sorry that your students are experiencing this issue and I’ll be happy to help.

I recommend going through our Troubleshooting: Export article from the Lucid Help Center for steps to resolve any issues.

If those persist, could you please provide a detailed description of the steps taken leading up to the issue, as well as the presentation tool being used?

Additionally, could you please try the export in a Chrome Incognito browsing session? This often improves performance by clearing cache and cookies and disabling extensions.

If issues persist, could you share a temporary Document Support PIN for a document where this occurs? This will help me take a closer look at what’s going on and try to reproduce the problem. This PIN is safe to post in this thread because it is only accessible by members of the Lucid support staff. You can find steps for generating a Support PIN in this  Help Center article

I appreciate your help and patience!

Zuzia,

I appreciate your responding to my thread, but the suggested solution is unrelated to the request.

Please see my short YouTube video I created explaining the problem:  MILKY OPAQUE FRAMES IN PRESENTATION BUILDER / LUCID SPARK

I have 48 students every semester presenting to the public using the Lucid Spark platform, and they always have to apologize for some frames that “just don’t show clearly.”  Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am part of the Lucid Legend program as well, and want the Lucid to work well.

Ken

Possible solution, but random at best:

  1. Deleted the present slide
  2. Turned on and off several times the TOGGLE “Show Slides”
  3. Create a Slide Frame.

I am not sure that is really a fix, or just a chance “trick”.

But . . . it did work.
