Lucidspark is laggy and freezes constantly, mostly every time it saves, so every 60 seconds or so. It is making work impossible. Sometimes even when it looks like it is not saving. This happens on all files, older ones, new ones, every single file.
I have tried clearing the cache, updated the browser, closed all Lucidspark boards and opened them again, logged out and back in, tried incognito mode (Using Chrome). Tried using Edge. Shut down the computer and started it again. The same issue happens no matter the location or wifi I’m using. This has been going on for the past 6 months or so and it keeps getting worse. First it happened only occasionally with some boards, now it’s all boards and constant.
I’m a heavy user, my teammates are not using Lucidspark as much and have not complained about this issue. What can I do to fix this, because it must be fixed.

Hi @Helloh, thanks for posting in the Lucid Community! Sorry you’re experiencing some trouble with your boards, but I’m happy to help.
Are you working in boards that contain a large amount of images or GIFs? If so, I recommend reducing the among of images and GIFs on the document as described in this article. You can try to split a large document into multiple smaller documents.
Additionally, can you try toggling WebGL off and letting me know if that helps? This can be done by selecting View > Rendering > Use WebGL and un-selecting this option. For help with disabling WebGL, please see this Community post.
If you’re still having trouble, can you please send a Technical Support PIN for your account? This PIN is safe to post in this thread because it is only accessible by members of the Lucid support staff. This will allow me to take a closer look at the issue you’re experiencing. Please navigate to your Account Settings to generate this PIN. For more information on generating a Support PIN, check out this Help Center article.

I am experiencing a similar problem with Lucidspark. It previously ran normally on this computer, but beginning yesterday the board became extremely slow and now crashes after only a few clicks with an “out of memory” or “not enough memory” message.
I originally encountered the problem while testing wireless casting, but casting is now completely stopped. I restarted the computer and closed every other application, but Lucidspark continues to run slowly and crash when used by itself.
Troubleshooting completed:
Restarted the computer
Stopped all wireless casting and disconnected external display equipment
Closed all other applications and browser tabs
Tested Lucidspark by itself
Restored Chrome’s graphics-acceleration setting and relaunched Chrome
Confirmed the issue persists after these steps
This board worked normally on the same computer before yesterday. Could a Lucid support team member help determine whether this is a rendering, WebGL, board-specific, or account issue? I can provide a Technical Support PIN, diagnostic results, browser version, RAM information, screenshots, and the private board URL through an appropriate support channel.
We only use the board for simple four week calendar scheduling with one user at a time accessing, so we use and work with very little data on the site.
Hi @AKipfer, thank you for your comment and I’m sorry for the trouble here. Happy to help!
Would you mind letting me know if you’ve noticed this issue in one specific document in your account, or across multiple documents?
Could you share a temporary Document Support PIN for one affected document? This will help me take a closer look at what’s going on. This PIN is safe to post in this thread because it is only accessible by members of the Lucid support staff. You can find steps for generating a Support PIN in this Lucid Help Center article: Generate a Lucid Support PIN.
Thank you for your help and patience as we look into this for your account!
