After moving to a new laptop with ARM chip (Snapdragon X) I’m experiencing issues with my Lucidchart add-ins for Powerpoint and Word (‘This add-in could not be started….’). We are having that centrally deployed.

Before getting in touch our Lucid Admins I wanted to confirm that the hardware is supported, to be on the safe side.

Thanks & Best,
Klaus

Hi @klaus.wiest, thank you for posting in the Community! I’ll be happy to help.

Could you please confirm whether all users who moved to this new hardware are experiencing the same issue?

Could you also try opening your board in a private or incognito window to help us narrow down the potential cause? For help with opening an incognito window, please see this  community post .

Finally, could you also try connecting to a different network or disconnecting from your VPN (if applicable)?

If those don’t resolve the problem, can you please send the following information so I can take a closer look?

  • A screenshot of the issue.
  • A screenshot of the associated Javascript Console output after reproducing the issue. You can open your Javascript Console by pressing Ctrl+Shift+J (if your computer is a Windows/Linux) OR Cmd+Opt+J (if your computer is a Mac).

Thanks in advance for your help and patience!

Hi Zuzia, thank you for your response.

I’ve reached out to our internal ARM community. As soon as I get an update I’ll add to the conversation, with ARM hardware being a pilot program in the company the number of users is probably not high.

Screenshots are below.

Thanks & Best

Klaus

The error screenshot is as follows:

The console output stays blank, only the network tab in the developer tools window shows some information:

Thank you for providing this information @klaus.wiest

Could you please confirm whether the issue occurs in an incognito window as well as other browsers (e.g. Chrome)?

Additionally, could you please let me know whether you experience the same behaviour with other add-ins?

I appreciate your continued help and patience!
