I recently imported a Lucidchart org chart into Google Docs, but the profile pictures aren’t showing up. They display fine in Lucidchart itself, but when I bring the chart into Google Docs, the images are missing.  The URLs I’m using are from my Google Drive.

Is there a setting or workaround to ensure the images transfer correctly?

Thanks for any help!

Below are two screenshots showing what I’m seeing:

  • Photo toggle ON (Show Photo enabled): The text looks clear and legible, but there’s a blank space where the profile picture should be (it doesn’t display at all).

  • Photo toggle OFF (Show Photo disabled): The text becomes distorted and blurry, even if I try different layout styles, this happens consistently.

Is this a known behavior, or is there a workaround to get both clear text and proper photo display when importing into Google Docs?

Hi @FCH Management, thanks for posting in the Lucid Community! I’m sorry you’re having trouble here but I’m happy to help.

Can you try the following items first? Sometimes account performance issues can be related to internet security/speed or browser issues. These steps will help us eliminate that possibility.

  • Exporting your document again from Lucid and importing into Google docs in a private or incognito window to help us narrow down the potential cause. For help with opening an incognito window, please see this community post.
  • Connecting to a different network or disconnecting from your VPN (if applicable) .

If those don’t resolve the problem, can you please send the following information?

  • A description of the download settings (file type being exported from Lucid, document pages, cropping, quality, etc.) that you selected for the download.
  • A screenshot of the associated Javascript Console output. You can open your Javascript Console by pressing Ctrl + Shift + J (if your computer is a Windows / Linux) OR Cmd + Opt + J (if your computer is a Mac).

Thanks in advance for your help and patience!
