Is it possible to draw collapsible containers?

Hi there

Thanks for reaching out in the community. Unfortunately we do not have collapsible containers. We're always looking for ways to improve Lucidchart and your feedback is the best way for us to do that. Would you mind adding your idea to our feature request form. This form allows our team to categorize like requests and bring them to our product team. Thanks again for your request!

Hi, it has been 7 years since this request? Do you have it now?

Hi @Diogo S, unfortunately, I do not have an update to provide regarding this feature but this is still the best thread to get any updates on.

We’re still very interested in your feedback and committed to continually improving our products.

We encourage anyone else who’s interested in this to upvote this post and share any additional details about your use case or what you’d like to see in this experience. For more information about how we manage feedback in this community, please take a look at this post:

Additionally, I did want to mention the ability to add layers and add actions to shapes. Actions allow you to turn any object on your canvas into a button that triggers activity such as toggling the visibility of your document’s layers or conditional formatting rules. While this isn’t the same feature being requested here, using these tools might help add interactivity to your document depending on your use case.

A new expand/collapse feature is being developed for future release. See new updates on this topic with Lucid AI!

Thank you @mterry for adding that tidbit to this thread! I’m happy to see that one of our product managers, Jimmy Moore, was able to provide you with an update in the thread you linked.
