How can I add an employee that is part of multiple teams to a group view?

Hello,

I am enjoying the organization chart in lucid and am working with the group view feature. I am trying to group employees into different teams, but I ran into an issue. I have some employees that are part of more than 1 team (they split their time).

I tried to duplicate them in group view but then they show up twice in my org chart view.

Any thoughts on this I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

Marcus

Hi @Marcus J

There is no automated way in org chart + Group View to have the same underlying employee record appear in two groups without also duplicating them in the main org chart.

In the current Org Chart system, an employee can only exist as one record in the data set, so if you duplicate them to appear in multiple groups, they will also appear twice in the core org chart view. Group View doesn’t support “multi-membership” for a single person.
