My account preferences AND document preferences in Lucid both have the grid set to be hidden but it is not hidden. It appears that I cannot make it go away. How do I resolve this?

Hi Hector

Thanks for reaching out in the community. You can turn off the grid lines by going to document settings from the file menu and switching the snapping toggles under “Grid and Snapping”

If that doesn’t work, can you try opening the document in a private or incognito window?  Sometimes document performance issues can be related to a poor internet connection or browser issues. If the issue persists please try turning off WebGL. This can be done by going to View > Use WebGL and un-selecting this option. If the issue continues please follow up in this thread. Thanks for your patience.

Hi @romana, could you try opening your document in a private or incognito window to help us narrow down the potential cause? Could you also try connecting to a different network or disconnecting from your VPN (if applicable)? Sometimes account performance issues can be related to internet security/speed or browser issues. These steps will help us eliminate that possibility. For help with opening an incognito window, please see this community post (in English).

If those don’t resolve the problem, can you please send the following information so I can take a closer look?

  • A screenshot of the issue.
  • A screenshot of the associated Javascript Console output after reproducing the issue. You can open your Javascript Console by pressing Ctrl+Shift+J (if your computer is a Windows/Linux) OR Cmd+Opt+J (if your computer is a Mac).

Thanks in advance for your help and patience!
