To whom it may concern,

I’ve been designing systemized workflows for different departments for the university that I work at. Each department has their own document that holds all of the pages used to show the processes and interconnected subprocesses involved with different roles and tasks. One of my current struggles is keeping all of the processes for employee roles organized within the document. Would it be possible to group pages together within the document? This would allow me to organize certain roles into their own group and make it easier for me to comprehend connections between processes.

Thank you

@E.Stever hi, I’ve mostly worked within Lucidcharts myself, but I’m having difficulty understanding what you’re asking. Are you talking about swimlanes or org charts? If swimlanes, keep reading. If org charts, that is an entirely different subject, and there are plenty of existing threads to help you create org charts.

If swimlanes, do you mean is it possible to nest swimlanes or do you mean having a page per employee role? If the former, I don’t believe that’s possible, but you could add it under product features that you would like to see so people can vote on it.

If the latter, the page design is entirely up to you. If you create a diagram large enough, a new page will be added automatically. Alternatively, you could break up one diagram into multiple diagrams, one for each employee role.

I hope that helps. If not, please respond with screenshots.

Hi @E.Stever, thanks for your post! To add to @aparrish’s response, if you are looking to group page tabs in a Lucidchart document, this isn’t currently supported in Lucid.
