It looks like a flooplan shapes do not work - you try drag and drop it onto the canvas but nothing happens. Does this issue happen only for me?

All the other shapes seem to work just fine.

Hi ​@lukasluk, thanks for posting in the Lucid Community! Would you mind specifying which floor plan shapes specifically are not working? Are you having this problem with specific shapes? Do other non-floor plan shapes work for you?

First, I recommend trying the following steps. Sometimes account performance issues can be related to internet security/speed or browser issues. These steps will help us eliminate that possibility. For help with opening an incognito window, please see this community post. Would you mind confirming that these don’t solve the problem with you?

  • Opening your document in a private or incognito window to help us narrow down the potential cause. For help with opening an incognito window, please see this community post.
  • Connecting to a different network or disconnecting from your VPN (if applicable)

If those don’t resolve the problem, can you please send the following information so I can take a closer look?

  • A screenshot or screen recording of the issue 
  • A screenshot of the associated Javascript Console output after reproducing the issue. You can open your Javascript Console by pressing Ctrl+Shift+J (if your computer is a Windows/Linux) OR Cmd+Opt+J (if your computer is a Mac).

Hello, here goes.

I mouse over the thumbnail of the room (or any wall) and it's not draging to the canvas. All other items seem to work fine.


Hi ​@lukasluk, thank you for that additional information! First, I would be sure that you are dragging from the shape itself inside the shape library as opposed to the shape preview pop-up that appears. 

Would you mind confirming that the steps below don’t solve the problem with you?

  • Make sure you're using the most recent version of your browser.
  • Ensuring that you are using a Google Chrome browser for best performance, as Lucid is optimized for Google Chrome.
  • Opening your document in a private or incognito window to help us narrow down the potential cause. For help with opening an incognito window, please see this community post.
  • Connecting to a different network or disconnecting from your VPN (if applicable)
