It would be hugely helpful if the option to hide notes (and comments!) was sticky with the document as a preference. I most frequently use my drawings without notes and comments. When I open the drawing I find I have to hide the comment and note bubbles every single time. This is irritating.

Alternatively, if there was a faster way to do this without fumbling through two check boxes in a menu or if these settings could be attached as an action on a clickable object in a drawing this would be an improvement.

Hi @alanmimms

The preference to keep comments and notes hidden by default is not a native capability and it is one of the very good observations and a point for future enhancements - you can also add an idea on this to the team.

Consider submitting product feedback to Lucidchart out here - https://community.lucid.co/ideas

Hope this helps - Happy to help further!!
Thank you very much and have a great one!
Warm regards

I have added a “me too” to a topic in the Ideas forum already.

I find the notes really irritating. I want to have notes - but I want the bubble to only appear when I select the shape. It does this for timeline shapes but not for non-timeline shapes

Hi @fishea00

Thank you for your post! I would recommend adding your feedback to this post or by creating your own idea so that it can been seen by product development team!
