CSV option missing from ERD import menu

Says it works with CSV, but only SQL and Salesforce options are available

Hi ​@Rudolph Boshoff, thank you for posting in the Community! I’ll be happy to clarify. 

Salesforce and SQL Database are the databases the data can be imported from. CSV, on the other hand, is one of the formats this data can be imported in, from one of the databases mentioned earlier.

For instance, a .csv file can be imported from the SQL Database. For more information on creating an Entity Relationship diagram, I recommend going through this Help Center article that provides step-by-step guidance.

Hi Zuzia, thank you for the clarification. This is good when documenting existing databases, but it is not ideal for designing new databases or describing databases which do not allow for a direct connection.

Might it be considered as a future enhancement to be able to import a manual definition in CSV without a database connection?
