I have auto-created an Org Chart for our company ~120 employees.  I’ve set the default Org Chart Style to the vertical orientation.  However, for certain managers with a lot of direct reports (like 15 or more), this makes the org chart SUPER tall, as the downlines each take up a line.

So, I’d like to be able to mix/match the style so that I can click on a manager and assign a different style to their part of the chart.  Ideally, a stacked vertical orientation.  I’ve tried clicking on the manager, or selecting the manager and their downlines, but the Style prompt does not appear.  (It only appears when the whole chart is selected.)

Other programs allow this - it’s absolutely critical to keep large companies org charts size manageable.

Can this be done?

Hi @brettglbl, thanks for your post! Indeed, the layout style can only be applied to the entire Org Chart at the moment. We are continuously looking for ways to improve our products and your input is the most effective way to achieve that goal. This is a problem for me as well. I’m in the trial period for a Team subscription, I can’t imagine paying this level of subscription fees and not being able to control the layout by manager as the original poster describes. I’m hoping Lucid can address this limitation quickly.
