When trying to search for images, the thumbnails are unavailable.  Looking at the debug console, there appears to be 403 errors.  This happens when the browser is in normal and incognito mode.

I wanted to provide an update here from our product team that is relevant to image search- 

In an effort to improve image search, our product team has released a new update. Lucid’s new image search provider is now Brave, which should improve your image search experience. 

As always, we would love to hear from you. Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us. Feel free to test it out and let us know what you think in this thread.

I have the same problem. I use Brave.

Turns out its due to our Zscaler web filtering service blacklisting pexels as an untrusted image host category.  Looks like its not worked since lucid moved away from bing to pexels.

@Mick Lambert could you let us know whether your network has allowed Pexels, and whether you keep on encountering issues if you did?

@dushun Could you try opening a private or incognito window to help us narrow down the potential cause? Could you also try connecting to a different network or disconnecting from your VPN (if applicable)? Sometimes account performance issues can be related to internet security/speed or browser issues. For help with opening an incognito window, please see this community post
