Adding more notes to an object

Question

I have an object on my chart (e.g. process, diamond, etc). The text content I want visible for that shape does not fit into the shape. I want an easy way to add more text to that shape without enlarging the shape. I hate to use Visio as an example. I’m used to the annotation feature in their tool. Please see the screenshot below. The feature allows me to add a shape to my flow, give it a 1 or 2 word name, then use the annotation outside of the shape (yet connected via a line) to add more text

Although it’s not like the annotation tool shown in your screenshot, it allows you to add notes to your shapes without cluttering the canvas.You might also find the comment function helpful for adding more information to your shapes as well.I hope this helps.
