We just imported it into LucidScale, while evaluating the solution, and discovered that only a tiny subset of the things are run in AWS and Azure are supported. This is incredibly disappointing.

For reference the following is completely missing, and of course more than that. Given that the solution is fairly expensive yet not even remotely qualified to do what it says it should do… I am wondering if there is a mistake we the customer make here. Please clearify how to import “ALL” absolutely ALL resources from Azure and AWS to LucidScale.

Thank you.

Hi @cavol, thanks for your post!

You can find the lists of supported resources for AWS and supported resources for Azure in the linked Help Center articles.

We’re very interested in your feedback and committed to continually improving our products. If there are any resources you would like to import that are currently not supported (such as Container Apps), please first search the Product Feedback section of this community (with the filter Topic Type = Idea) to see if an idea to add these resources has already been submitted. If so, please add any additional details you’d like and upvote the request - this consolidation helps to refine feedback and properly capture the popularity of the request.

If no one has submitted this idea yet, please create one of your own and be sure to include details about your use case or what you’d like to see in this experience. This will also allow other users with similar requests to discover and upvote it, then add details of their own.

Finally, for more information on how Lucid manages feedback via this community, take a look at this post:

I am not going to create a suggestion for every resource there is, there are far too many.

Link to the Azure Periodic table that covers the most important ones: https://www.azureperiodictable.com/

The solution is far too expensive for the current state, $2k a year for an incomplete solution that doesn’t support popular infrastructure is not okay.

Thank you for clarifying though that the issue lies with Lucid and not my setup.

Thanks for your response! I completely understand that creating a post for every resource you would like to see added is not feasible. As an alternative, you can also request new resources from within the product:

Hope this helps!
