Top toolbar change in Lucidchart

Having the option to have it there or on the side would be an improvement. The additional space taken up by the right-hand side bar really intereres with the practicality of seeing all of your charts when they are wide.

Also, I use Firefox, and there is no popup happening when I have an item selected, so it took me quite a while to figure out what was going on.

In whose opinion? From what I see in these forums and my own experience, anything beyond making text bold or changing its colour has become a multi click nightmare.

Please just put this back.

You have no idea how much time this costs and how incredibly frustrating this is to use the product in current form. 

Not sure if this applies to others but very difficult experience with Enterprise shapes.
Also the ‘pop up’ disappears when the property bar on right hand side is open. Can’t even rely on on the ‘pop up’ being there all the time. Don’t change the behaviour, just put the toolbar back. 

Ironically this comment editor (posting on this thread) does exactly what I need - a permanent place for common text formatting controls, etc. Its such a basic ask….

The new setup is not well thought out. The right panel needs to be open nearly all the time and takes a lot more space than the toolbar did for the same functionality. And there are just so many details that make no sense. You already have this massive panel open but the line styles still need a scroll bar because the popup is not big enough? I reverted to the classic editor and will stay there until you find a non-AI UX designer.
