Seeking feedback: Help us test our new Lucidchart Excel integration!
👋Hello community members!
Are you an Enterprise user?
Do you wish you could import Excel data from Office 365?
Do you currently have a OneDrive for Business, SharePoint, or Group Drive account?
🎉Good News!
We have a working beta that enables 2-way data syncing between Lucidchart and Excel and are looking for volunteers to test this new functionality.
If you’re interested in participating, reply or send me a DM! I’m Jimmy Moore, a product manager over all things data. I’d be happy to help you get onboarded to this beta feature :)

Could you please share a list of permissions the add-in needs in our Microsoft Tenant? I think it would be helpful for anyone who needs to go through security to enable...
Hi, when I try and use this function I get to the point of importing my Excel there are no options to find the document you want. I have closed, reopened, nothing works past here.
We use Smart Containers over here at Everbridge using Excel documents. I might be a little late to the party, but are you still looking for feedback? I’m VERY interested in this. This would possibly help not having to upload the excel doc to replace the data?
Thanks for your interest, @Tophat ! This feature is publicly available in our marketplace now. You can install it here
As account admin I am trying to install the integration into our Team subscription. That fails. The Marketplace page of the add-on, tells me that the integration is available for Team subscribers. What permissions do I need to install the integration?
Hello! We want to provide an update on this feature, and be transparent about its current state. As a beta feature, the Excel integration is still under development, and we anticipate that you'll come across bugs and areas that aren't fully polished yet.
We know encountering bugs can be frustrating, and we want to set expectations clearly that this beta is not currently a high-priority for immediate bug fixes. This means that while we appreciate you reporting issues, a resolution for them is not likely to happen soon.
Your patience is greatly appreciated as we continue to work on this. Please keep sending us your valuable feedback – it's crucial for the long-term improvement of the feature, even if current issues aren't being addressed right away.
I know you are still working out the kinks in the integration however I can not use it since my employer will not even look at turning it on while it is beta. It would be great if you could remove that status so I can ask them to look at turning it on in my org. I already have so many use cases for it but have to deal with static excel sheets for know.
Thanks for your post, @Scott G! The teams building this integration have pivoted to other areas in the product for the time being. Consequently we do not expect the 2-way syncing Excel import functionality to leave beta any time soon. I’m sorry I don’t have better news. I will pass this along to our product teams so we know there’s continued interest in its development!
For anyone else reading this: if you’re in a similar boat please let us know! Continued user engagement and requests are what let us know what’s important to invest in!
