I want to be able to rotate a shape in Lucidchart while keeping the text horizontally aligned. For instance if I rotate the triangle (merge) 90 degrees to have it face right I don't want the text to also rotate - then it will go up-down. I want it to stay left right.

Thanks for reaching out on the community! Unfortunately it isn't possible to rotate text inside of a shape without moving the entire shape. However you can rotate text by placing a separate text box inside of the shape you'd like to rotate.
