I am new to Lucid, I want to know if we can able to navigate Lucid canvas without scroll bars but by grabbing is (usually in other application a mini hand that let you do it) can be done? Hope my question makes sense

You can definitely grab and move the canvas just like the mini hand tool in other applications. Here are the two best ways to do it:

If you hold down the Spacebar on your keyboard, your cursor will turn into a hand icon. While holding the spacebar, just click and drag your mouse to move the canvas in any direction.

You can also simply right-click and hold anywhere on the blank canvas to grab it and pull the view around. You don't even need to hit a key for this one!
If you are using a trackpad, you can also use a two-finger swipe to pan around freely.

+1Why is a “Hand” tool that can be toggled on not available? I am exploring someone else's detailed diagram and i keep accidentally selecting things. I’m concerned i will accidentally edit or move something. Surely a toggle to turn on the “hand” would be beneficial to Lucid?

Thank you for your response in this thread. I totally understand the frustration of accidentally selecting or moving things when you're just trying to explore someone else's diagram.
A few things that might help in the meantime:
- Spacebar + drag to pan without selecting anything
- If you're viewing a Lucidchart doc, check if the owner can share it in View-only mode — that would prevent any accidental edits entirely!
Unfortunately, a dedicated toggleable Hand tool isn’t currently supported in Lucid, but we’re very interested in your feedback and committed to continually improving our products. If you’re willing to share, we’d love to hear more details about your use case or what you’d like to see in this experience within this thread.
