Hi

I've had specific Mind map software in the past that allow you to export to Word or Powerpoint so that Parent and Child nodes in the mind map will appear as headings and sub-headings in the MS document which I've always found to be a superb way of creating the outline for a document that can then be expanded upon in Office.

With the Mind map I've created in Lucid I can only figure out how to export a diagram of my Mind map.  There doesn't seem to be a way to extract the text and hierarchy from Lucid to then replicate it as text in Office.  Does anyone know if I'm missing anything?

This is a feature I thought Lucid had.  I think it would be VERY helpful, not only with the mind map template but with any “diagramming” template as well!  Please implement!

This feature was removed, please re-enable it.

Orignal process:

To export a Lucidchart mind map to text, navigate to the "File" menu, select "Export," then choose "Text Outline" as the format; this will generate a plain text file containing the hierarchy of your mind map with each topic listed in a structured order based on its position in the map.
