Navigation mode setting is missing from the android app.

Hi there,

I am using Samsung Tab S9 Ultra with connected mouse. When I first opened the app, the ‘navigation mode’ popup showed up. A moment after I wanted to change the setting to ‘Auto’ but it simply isn’t in the menu, just 2 mins after it showed up for the first time. I’ve tried everything.

Hello and thank you for posting your question! I don’t have a Samsung Tab S9, but I did test using Chrome’s testing tools, and I was able to navigate to the board settings (see screenshot). I hope this helps, and if not, I would love to know more about what you are experiencing.

Hi there, thank you for the response. Yes the navigation mode is on the Chrome version, but missing on Android, although it popped up on my screen a moment beforehand.

It's pretty annoying as I am unable to use the application properly. I would like to switch the navigation mode to 'auto'.

I downloaded the app on my android device, and now I see what you are saying. I do not see the navigation settings on the app. I will report what I am seeing to the development team, and update you when I learn more. In the meantime, would it be possible for you to use the an internet browser to access the Lucid products? That should give you the option to change your navigation settings.

Hello, I have reinstalled the app, and the setting popped up for a moment. ( screenshot below ) After I chose the option and saved it, it disappeared and is not accessible anymore.

This is a temporary solution for me :)  .. but it would be good if the development team added it to the menu.

Thank you.

Thank you for replying, and while not ideal, I’m glad you found a workaround! This has been reported to the development team, and I will post here when there is an update.

Hi there! Our teams had already been working on this and just released the option on mobile. Perfect timing! You may need to update your app if you still don’t see it.

Hi Sam, sorry for the late reply. It seems I have the latest 1.0.28 android version, which is the one without the navigation mode menu. I don’t see the option to update to a newer one. I wonder which version did you have in mind?

Regards.

Sam

That’s the correct version! It should have automatically added the navigation mode to the board settings section even without updating the app it seems.

You still don’t have the option available to you after my message?

Hi Sam, the Navigation mode setting is now visible in the menu, on both android devices. ( phone & tablet ).

Thanks for that, It’s pretty awesome that you guys managed to update it. :)

Regards,

Sam
