Lucid diagram doesn't load in Confluence

Hi all,

Since last week loading a diagram using the Lucid macro in Confluence has an issue.
when using the following macro settings: 

  • Access settings: View only.
  • Pages to display: Range.
  • Viewer type: Simple viewer.
  • Auto update: Automatically.

The lucid diagram doesn't load. Not in the Confluence edit mode nor in the published mode.
I'm using Google Chrome version: Version 148.0.7778.97 (Official Build) (64-bit).
Connect in our company through a Citrix desktop connection.

What can be done to solve this issue?

Simple Viewer appears to be broken or unstable in Confluence Cloud right now.

Also, it includes some common workaround options you can try.

Hi,

We had a similar issue recently with Lucid macros in Confluence, especially when using the “Simple viewer” option through Citrix + Chrome. In our case, switching the Viewer type from “Simple viewer” to the standard interactive viewer temporarily fixed the loading problem.

You could also try:

  • Clearing the Confluence and Lucid cache/cookies

  • Testing in an Incognito window

  • Disabling Chrome extensions

  • Trying another browser outside the Citrix environment if possible

  • Reinstalling or updating the Lucidchart Confluence integration

There are also a few troubleshooting resources online that may help — you can visit this for additional guidance and related fixes others have tried.

Hopefully Lucid releases a patch soon if it’s a recent compatibility issue.
