Joining a Lucid Team account

Hi

I was using my work email for an individual account and then realized we have a Team account. I need to use the same email but it won't let me do that (it asks me to upgrade and pick a plan)

I was sent an invite and it shows up in notifications but I can't action it.

Any thoughts how to fix?

Hi Aaron thanks for posting in the community - I'm happy to help! To clarify the situation are you saying that you have an Individual subscription associated with your work email but now you want to join your organization's Team account using that same email and you're having trouble accepting the invitation that you were sent? If so you might be experiencing a bug we're currently aware of with users accepting invitations to join Team accounts. We'd be happy to manually add you to the team - I've created a ticket from this post and will reach out directly for additional information about your account. 

If I've misunderstood what you're hoping to do please let me know!

If anyone else is experiencing issues with accepting invitations to join teams please reply in this thread.

Wanted to share an update on this thread - good news! This issue has since been resolved and it should be possible to invite users and accept invitations as normal. If you're finding that the problem persists please don't hesitate to let us know in the thread.

I have recently set up a team account and a member of my team has been asked for a password to join our team account.  She had a free personal account, which we are trying to translate into one of the team licences.

Three years later and this still seems to be a bug that has not been fixed.

I prematurely made a Lucid account with my work email - it shows as personal. My work has now attempted to invite me to their team, and I get the email and notification in Lucid, but I cannot do anything with it. I even started a free trial to try and search for the team, but it is hidden. 

I have attempted to delete my account a few times to no avail. What can be done so that I can accept the invite and join my work’s team with my work email?

Hi ​@abigailllmp, could you clarify what you mean by “cannot do anything with it”? What happens when you attempt to accept the email invitation?

I click on the link in the email, it opens Lucid to just the main home screen, and I can see the notification, but there’s nothing that happens when I click on it/there’s no response.

@abigailllmp can you send a screenshot of the associated Javascript Console output when you clink the email invite link? You can open your Javascript Console by pressing Ctrl + Shift + J (if your computer is a Windows / Linux) OR Cmd + Opt + J (if your computer is a Mac).

@abigailllmp thanks for sending that over. Can you try accepting the invitation from an incognito/private window?

That worked and allowed me to accept the invitation. My company also has given me a license since the last response. However, I am still unable to see them in my teams.

@abigailllmp, that’s great to here! Could you confirm with your account admin that your company uses teams? If they do not, none will appear.
