We do not see to have any document admins, nor are we able to assign the role of document admin to anyone.  Who has permissions to assign document admins?

I’m a Billing and Account admin, but the document admin role is greyed out for me to assign to anyone.

The Document Admin role can only be assigned by the Lucidchart Account Owner or Account Admins with the necessary permissions.

  • This means that individual document owners cannot assign Document Admin roles, although they do control access to their own documents. Additionally, Billing and Account Admins manage account-level settings, but may not have the authority to assign Document Admins.
  • On Enterprise plans, Document Admins can utilize the Document Discovery feature to manage documents across the organization. To simplify collaborative document ownership and access management, consider using Team Folders.

This approach reduces dependence on a single document owner. If you're unable to assign the Document Admin role, please check with the Account Owner or designated Admins who control those permissions.

Cosndier, document ownership alone does not grant the right to assign admin roles.
