Access is Denied message

Hello,

My company uses LucidCharts regularly. Recently our users get an “Access is Denied” when they try to access their LucidCharts accounts. The workaround is clearing browser cache and re-opening LucidCharts. We find we are getting  more calls about this error. Is there something we need to change on the configuration side? Maybe a timeout or access is expiring at a certain time? We access LucidCharts within OKTA or the Portal link.

Thank you for your help

 Hi @RahimHirji,

Thank you for posting in the Lucid Community, and thank you @Humas1985 for chiming in here!

@Zuzia S recently addressed this issue over in this thread:

Here is what we recommend to resolve it:

  1. Clear Cache and Cookies: Since the issue typically resolves in an incognito window or after restarting the browser, it points to local cookie or browser extension interference. Clearing your cache and cookies in your regular browsing session should help reset the state.

  2. Check Browser Extensions: If clearing cache/cookies doesn't resolve it, try disabling your browser extensions one by one to identify if a specific extension is interfering with the connection or session tokens.

Hope this helps get things sorted for your team, and please continue communication in that thread with @Zuzia S!
