The people that make up the Lucid Community are constantly sharing ideas, asking questions, starting discussions, and finding opportunities. We want to make sure you never miss out on things that improve your workflow and make projects easier. To always hear about what’s most important to you, you can subscribe to notifications for your favorite topics. Continue reading to learn how.

First, what makes a notification useful instead of annoying? Two things:

  • ✏️ Relevance: A topic that directly applies to you and that you’re interested in.
  • ✏️ Usefulness:  Information you can directly apply to make your work easier.

We recommend making sure that everything you subscribe to meets those criteria.

Types of notifications and how to subscribe:

⭐ A specific topic - this is useful when you are interested in an individual conversation and want to be aware of any further responses or developments. To subscribe, click Subscribe at the bottom of the original post.

Note: You’ll automatically be subscribed for notifications about all new responses on a topic that you create.

⭐ A category - this is useful when you want to be aware of any new topics created within the category. For example, you might subscribe to the Inspiration category to be notified of any new tips and tricks, use cases, and resources shared there. To subscribe, click Subscribe in the upper-right corner.

⭐ A group - this is useful when you want to stay connected to other group members and be alerted about specialized resources and conversations around best practices. Joining a group automatically subscribes you to notifications for all new topics created within the group, but you can subscribe to notifications for individual conversations and their responses following the steps outlined under Specific Topic.

Manage notifications

Don't worry, you can change your mind at any time about what notifications you receive by clicking Unsubscribe on any topic or category. Within a group, select You’re a Member and click Unsubscribe from group notifications.

Additionally, you can manage all notifications within Community Settings.
