Can you put words into the basic circle diagrams for flow chart purposes?

Could you just bring text into the diagram?

Thanks for posting in the Lucidchart Community! Yes you can add text to most shapes by double-clicking the shape. After double-clicking a text input should appear inside of the shape. You can also use Text Boxes from the Standard shape library to insert text generally into a diagram.
