Why do I receive access requests for documents that are shared?

I keep receiving access requests for my documents that are already shared. It tends to be newly hired coworkers. I believe the issue is that since they are new, our IT departments has not created their licensed account in Lucid.

Is there a way to prevent them from requesting access or inform them that they would have access if they had a licensed account?

Hi ​@wes, thank you for posting in the community and apologies for the delayed response! I just wanted to check in and see if you're still experiencing any issues with access requests for shared documents?

If so, your admins can consider adjusting their SCIM provisioning settings to ensure new hires get a license automatically on day one so they can see shared documents instantly. Alternatively, you could consider adjusting the share settings of the documents so that users can have access without needing to request access.

@wes I don’t know of any way to prevent them from requesting access, but you can always inform them that they would have access if they contacted the IT department for a licensed account via email and maybe even the file name (something short like “[Title] - Contact IT for license”).
