Trying to draw a floor layout. Need to add interior walls. Followed these steps:

  1. Search Walls
  2. Mouse over wall in library
  3. Blank box appears
  4. Can’t select or move wall onto drawing

Good afternoon @JamesR ,

I am trying to replicate the issue, but it’s working for me (I’m on a mac/chrome combo). Can you tell me more about the browser and operating system you are using? Have you tried refreshing and or clearing cache and cookies. Sometimes that helps.

Shantel - Thank you for trying on your machine. I am on a mac. I have tried chrome and safari with the same results. (I had to install Chrome) I cleared the cache and have restarted the machine.

Mac OS Version 15.0.1 (24A348)

In addition, I have tried on my iPad with the same results.

Resolved: from Lucid Support

After replicating the issue on my end, I do have some resolution.

In order to be able to use the floor-plans, we need to pin the shapes.

To pin the shapes, search up the desired library (such as 'walls', 'rooms') and click on the little pin icon in the right corner of the shape results. Once you pin the shapes, the pin icon will switch to a vertical pin (rather than at an angle).

Hi @JamesR

Thank you for the reply! I apologize for the delay. I’m glad you were able to find a workaround to the issue. Can you provide a screenshot/screen recording of the issue you see on your end?
