Vertically align text in a shape

I would like to vertically align text in the middle of the rectangle, where the outline is as close to the text as possible.

Ok, figured it out, Text Options-->Padding needs to be 0 to be vertically center tight to outline.

Thank you for posting in the Lucid Community! Can you go to the main tool bar in Lucidchart and select the alignment option? From here you can change where the text is aligned.

As I reduce the shape height, the text goes from vertically center aligned to overlapped with the bottom outline.  It looks like there is a top margin set, where can that be changed?
