Updating Smart Containers with updated data

I imported an xlsx file into Smart Containers. We have made some updates to the Excel and even though I click the Data Refresh button the data doesn't update. Any suggestions?

Hi Tod

Thanks for your post! An xlsx file imported into Lucidchart is static so it does not support live updates through the data refresh button. If you create your Smart Containers using Google Sheets you will be able to perform live updates without having to import a new spreadsheet file. If you have further questions please let me know.

Is there any way to upload a new/updated XLSX file and retain the same formatting for smart containers?

Hi Austin thanks for posting! Unfortunately what you are describing hasn't been built out for smart container import but it's a great idea that I'm sure other users would agree with!
