Hi, Very new to lucid charts.

When i open a template or item that has DRAFT, when i click shapes a popup menu appears where i can see BPMN 2.0 shapes (and font name up top of page). But when i am opening a saved file i have created where i used BPMN shapes, i dont have the ability to see this pop up menu only a skinny menu with icons appear at the left.

Is there a way to have the shapes menu appear?

I am using browser

@Tanja B thanks for those details. Can you please share what type of browser you are using and if you have tried it in other browsers? If so, which one(s)? Have you tried clearing the cache/cookies and restarting the browser(s)? It might also be helpful if you could share what type of computer you are using.

Hi @Tanja B ,

Thanks for posting in the Lucid Community! I am unable to reproduce the issue you are experiencing. I have attached an example of a document I have that is not in draft form and has BPMN shapes. At first, it only shows a skinny menu on the left with icons, like you are experiencing, but when I click on the “shapes” icon, it opens up a bigger menu with those BPMN shapes. Can you confirm if you can follow the steps in the pictures I sent and if you are still running into any issues?

If you are still running into issues, could you try opening your document in a private or incognito window to help us narrow down the potential cause? Could you also try connecting to a different network or disconnecting from your VPN (if applicable)? Sometimes account performance issues can be related to internet security/speed or browser issues. These steps will help us eliminate that possibility. For help with opening an incognito window, please see this community post.

If those don’t resolve the problem, can you please send the following information so I can take a closer look?

- A screenshot of the issue.

- A screenshot of the associated Javascript Console output after reproducing the issue. You can open your Javascript Console by pressing Ctrl+Shift+J (if your computer is a Windows/Linux) OR Cmd+Opt+J (if your computer is a Mac).

Thanks in advance for your help and patience!
