I've been using Lucid Charts for years and I like the power it has for drawing and maintaining drawings as a team. In technical drawing mind mapping and business modeling it has been a great partner. The only thing that comes to mind from time to time is that if you want to make some diagrams or presentation that has cool graphics this is not the tool for that currently. But could it be?
If LucidChart would have tools the set gradients shadows and other basic effects for the elements the tool would be close to perfect. For example similar tools like Apple's KeyNote has would make this tool a real killer.

Thanks for posting on the community and thank you for your feedback! If you are looking to add gradients and shadows to your shapes Lucidchart does support these features.
To add a gradient to your shapes select Fill Color > More and select the gradient type you would like.
To add a shadow to your shapes select Shape Options > Shadow > On.
