Thanks for posting in the Lucid Community! When clicking on text, it will select everything. However, if you double-click on your text, it allows you to select text fragments.
If that does not solve the issue, can you please send a screenshot or screen recording so I can take a closer look at what you are experiencing?

I single-click, double-click and various other ways. I can't select words or even place the cursor inside the text field.
I'm not a new user, I've been using Lucid for a long time, I've been working with text for a long time and this is the first time this problem has appeared. It's been going on for a few days now.

Thanks for sending that information! Could you try opening your document in a private or incognito window to help us narrow down the potential cause? Sometimes account performance issues can be related to browser issues. These steps will help us eliminate that possibility. For help with opening an incognito window, please see this community post.

In the incognito tab everything worked fine.This got me thinking and I realized that the problem might be caused by a plugin I installed in my browser a few days ago... Thank you very much for your help and pointing me to the possible cause of the problem!
