Trying to work out a way to import the table structure from a SQLite database (.db file). Does anyone have the SQL required to export the data from a SQLite DB as per other dbs such as SQL Server?
Hi Jeff
Thanks for posting in the Community.
Lucidchart does not currently support ERD import from SQLite. The DBMS supported for ERD import into Lucidchart are MySQL SQL Server PostgreSQL and Oracle.
Anecdotally we have seen some users work around this by editing their import data to make it mimic a supported database. (You might want to take a look at some example import text files linked at the bottom of this article from our Help Centre to see the required format.) This might work in some situations although I can't guarantee this would suit your particular needs and it is outside the scope of the Support team's capabilities to provide any more specific guidance on this.
However we're always looking for ways to improve Lucidchart and your feedback is the best way for us to do that. If you would like to see SQLite as a supported DBMS would you mind adding your idea to our product feedback space? Ideas submitted to this form are passed on to the product development team for their consideration.
