I have some process boxes; some seem transparent and shows the grid; some do not. I tried various fill settings to no avail. Any suggestions how to fix?

You can edit the fill of the shape via the Fill Color icon in the toolbar! Simply select the transparency color and the grid lines will show through. See the gif below for more information.
