Since the last update (January 2025),  is anyone else experiencing problems with multiple blue nodes on connecting lines behaving irratically?

I can’t seem to draw straightforward connectors between shapes on the same layer (resembling an org chart) without the lines going all over the place when I try to modify them.

It was absolutely fine 2-days ago.

Is this a bug?

Checking back in to let you know we have a fix that should improve this line interaction.  We are working to get it into the product ASAP.

hi @Nicola

With the January 2025 update, you may need to ensure that you are using the latest browser version (Lucid performs best on Chrome). If you suspect the issue is related to the update, refreshing your browser cache or restarting it can sometimes resolve temporary glitches.

Hope this helps.

Hi Nicola!  I am the product manager over the canvas layout teams.  We recently released updates to our lines that include these new blue dots and routing behaviors.

Your post sounds similar to issues this other user has reported.  Is this the behavior you’re experiencing as well? If so then yes these are unintended!

For org chart applications, You will have the best experience if you draw the line down from the “parent” shape to their descendants. That’s the best work around for now.

Rest assured we are working to fix these issues.  Happy to answer any other questions if you have them.
