I am creating a Mind Map and wish to change the colors of objects I create via"Shape Options" as it was located in the right side tool bar in your prior product version. My toolbar on the right side no longer has a "Star" which triggered the "Shape Options" feature and I cannot find "Shape Options" now on any tool bar- all I have is a "Beta Shape Options" that does not allow me to make changes I could make in the prior product version.

Hi Bernard! You can change the color of mind map objects using the gear icon to the top right of mind map shapes. It'll open a pop-up where you can choose the color for each level.

I am aware of this feature and have badly stated my problem.
I wish to re-define the colors and to do this to a depth of 10 colors.
BTW what does "Root Color" mean?
Root color is the color of your main/center mind map square. I don't think Lucidchart supports color levels past 6 levels (if you count the root as 1) but you can still change individual mind map shapes using the container fill on the top editor bar.
