I have a LucidSpark Board that I use for my students to add photos and recieve feedback. Starting yesterday they can no longer drag photos onto the “main board”, but if I create a breakout board they ARE able to add photos. Any solution available? I haven’t changed anything about my board. It’s happening on multiple boards that I keep for different classes.

Hi @wvanbeckum,

Good news! Our development team has let me know that the issue should now be resolved. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

If you’re still seeing the issue or have any other questions, please let me know in this thread and I’d be happy to keep looking into this.

Hi @wvanbeckum, thanks for posting in the Lucid Community! Sorry you’re having trouble here but I’m happy to help take a closer look at this.

First, I recommend trying the following two steps. Sometimes account performance issues can be related to internet security/speed or browser issues. These steps will help us eliminate that possibility.

  • Could you have your students try this again in a private or incognito window to help us narrow down the potential cause? For help with opening an incognito window, please see this community post.
  • Could you also try connecting to a different network or disconnecting from your VPN (if applicable)?

If those don’t resolve the problem, can you please send the following information so I can take a closer look?

  • A screenshot or screen recording of the issue.

  • A screenshot of the associated Javascript Console output after reproducing the issue. You can open your Javascript Console by pressing Ctrl+Shift+J (if your computer is a Windows/Linux) OR Cmd+Opt+J (if your computer is a Mac)

  • A temporary Document Support PIN for this document. This will help me take a closer look at what’s going on. This PIN is safe to post in this thread because it is only accessible by members of the Lucid support staff. You can find steps for generating a Support PIN in this Lucid Help Center article: Generate a Lucid Support PIN.

Thanks in advance for your help and patience!

I have tried all of the troubleshooting and it does not fix the issue. Last week I could fix the issue by creating a breakout board. The main board wouldn’t accept images but hte breakout board would accept images.

A screen recording of the issue:

And here’s a support pin for one of my boards that is having hte issue… it’s also happening in other boards though (I have 5 boards for my various classes). : duOsVcvqJnAbTbq11qwH2QsLVphlIfybKy203331606

Hi @wvanbeckum

Thank you for getting back to me with that information and the detailed video! Are you still having trouble uploading images? I believe you may have identified a bug, but I am raising this with our development team to verify. I apologize for the disruption and I will update this thread as soon as possible.

In the meantime, would you mind trying this workaround and letting me know if this works for you?

  1. Create a new blank document
  2. Upload your image to that document
  3. Copy/paste the image from the new document to your intended document

Thank you for your help and patience!
