Just to make sure we're on the same page -- you are referring to the Lucid mobile App correct?

While you cannot currently use the Apple Stylus Pen to draw directly on the Lucidchart canvas the stylus can be used to create diagrams through the standard drag and drop interface by holding down the button to pan across the canvas.

That being said we're always looking for ways to improve Lucidchart and your feedback is the best way for us to do that. Would you mind adding your feedback to the Product Feedback section of this community? As a growing company we take our feature requests very seriously as w are continuously looking for how we can make our product more useful and effective for our users.

Hi has there been any new updates on the use of stylus pens? I have a samsung s8 with a stylus and would enjoying using this on Lucid.

Hi @Jesse, thanks for continuing this thread! To clarify, Flavia’s response above refers specifically to Freehand Drawing, which is an ability available only in Lucidspark that allows your stylus to work like a true pen. However, our mobile apps - both Lucidchart and Lucidspark - are built to be compatible with most styluses and touch devices. If you’d like to give it a try, we’d love to know if you’re running into any issues. Additionally, if you’d still like to see Freehand Drawing specifically in Lucidchart,  please first search the Product Feedback section of this community (with the filter Topic Type = Idea) to see if it’s already been submitted. If so, please add any additional details you’d like and upvote the request - this consolidation helps to refine feedback and properly capture the popularity of the request.
