With the new BambooHR integration you can generate Org Charts automatically in Lucidchart with employee data imported from your BambooHR account. To import your data and set up your org chart follow the steps outlined in our Org Charts article from our Help Center found here.

I have a couple of follow up questions.

To use conditional formatting such as color coding in your Org Charts please take a look at this article for more information. And if you look on the toolbar to the left that has all the information that was imported there should be a button that says "Layout" and if you click that it should give you the option to make the chart more vertical. Hope this helps!

I cannot find the 'layout' option to make it vertical. Can you specify where I can find this?

Ah I see. Thanks for your response. I found the option you are referring to. However it still seems to be quite spread out horizontally. Is there any way to make this even more verticalized?

We currently don't have the functionality to make it more vertical than that layout option. But we're always looking for ways to improve Lucidchart and your feedback is the best way for us to do that. Would you mind adding your idea to our feature request form? This form allows our team to categorize like requests and bring them to our product team.
