I am trying to add a new employee field to my org chart titled "Group" however every time I try to add the field it populates with #Error as it thinks it's a formula. I want to add a new text field for this that can be filled out.

Thanks for posting and sorry for the trouble. I believe custom fields do require the input to be a formula. More information on this can be found in our how to use formulas help center article. If you'd like to suggest we change this functionality please let us know via our feature request form.
