Miro Mermaid Diagrams Now Supported in Lucid!
Bringing your technical diagrams over to Lucid just got much easier! We are very excited to announce that Lucid now supports Mermaid diagrams when migrating or copying content over from Miro. 🎉
Whether you are consolidating your team’s documentation or running a full migration, you can now bring your Mermaid diagrams into Lucid without losing momentum or rebuilding your work from scratch.
What’s new and why it matters
- Intact & editable (Miro Beta Mermaid): Diagrams built with Miro’s beta Mermaid feature arrive in Lucid intact as fully working, editable Mermaid diagrams. Code included!
- Legacy Mermaid support: For diagrams created with Miro's legacy Mermaid tool, you can bring them over seamlessly as visual image objects.
- Less manual rework: Pick up right where you left off during migrations without manually reconstructing system flows, sequence diagrams, or logic trees.
Here’s how it works
- For Miro Beta Mermaid diagrams: Simply select the diagram in Miro, press Ctrl + C or Cmd + C, and paste it (Ctrl + V / Cmd + V) onto your Lucid canvas. It will arrive intact and ready to edit.
- For Miro Legacy Mermaid diagrams: Select the diagram in Miro and press Ctrl + Shift + C or Cmd + Shift + C to copy it as an image, then paste it directly onto your Lucid workspace.
(Note: Using standard Ctrl + C won't copy legacy Mermaid images correctly, so be sure to include Shift.)
