When generate a mind map chart, the text inside the circle shape for the Root of the mind map doesn’t align at the center of the circle. This is a bug that I have noticed recently. Is there any way to fix this issue?

Here is the code:
mindmap
  root((ServerBased))
    ZeroClient
      AllLogicOnServer
      TerminalClient
    Advantages
      CentralControl
      HighSecurity
      EasyUpdates
      LowCostClients
    Disadvantages
      HeavyServerLoad
      StrongNetworkNeeded
      SinglePointFailure
When I run the Mermaid code in Lucid Chart the root text doesn’t align centrally inside the circle.

Hi @elijah.elias!

I would love a screenshot of what you’re seeing. I just attempted to create a mind map with your code using Lucid AI and this is what it comes up with:

The Text appears to be centered in the map for me.  I also tried highlighting the root and the text aligned as expected:

Can you help me understand any additional steps or specific template you’re using when creating the mind map?

Kind regards,

Eric

Hi @elijah.elias and @Grieser

I wanted to jump in this thread to share that you can now generate editable Lucid shapes from your Mermaid syntax! 🎉 Copy your syntax and paste it into your Lucid document. The result will be native, editable shapes that you can format and move around freely!

You should be able to edit your text in your mind map generated from Mermaid code freely. I recommend trying this our, and please let me know @elijah.elias if you’re still running into trouble with editing/aligning your text.
