Hello, I am building out a flow chart on lucid chart and when I add a link to a PDF in the chart (specifically from google drive where the link is “Anyone can Edit”) Then i got to “File” → “Publish” → “Full document (URL)” Copy that link then share it to anybody, it doesn’t work and shows the error in the image attached. If I take the Link to the PDF out then the Publish link works fine. Anyone know why this is happening? I am on the free version, is this a premium feature? Thanks for any help :)

@xtcy, here are possible reasons why it’s not working in order of what I think could be the issue:
Unpublished link: If you paste an “Anyone can Edit” link into a PDF, the viewer won’t be able to render it — only a published URL works.
Unpublished document: Sometimes the link isn’t fully generated (e.g., if the doc is still private). If the document is unpublished, the PDF viewer can’t load it.
Security/access restrictions: Some organizations disable links. If you’re on an enterprise or educational account, admins may have restricted this feature.
Embed code: If you tried to paste the embed code, that won’t work inside PDFs.
