Hello - I am having issues with both creating and importing Jira subtasks into Lucid. I am getting an error that either the Jira issue failed to import or create.

I am having no issues with any other Issue Types. Only subtasks. They also do not show up as Linked Issues, although probably because by definition they are Subtasks and not Linked.

Any assistance available here? Why would this only happen for sub-tasks but not for other Issue Types?

Thanks.

@benh937 There are a few other threads that relate to this question, but I think it would be more ideal for me to connect you with @scowley since @scowley posted a Product Update related to Jira functionality. He’d probably be the best person to assist you since he specializes in Jira functionality within Lucid. @scowley can you help @benh937?

Thank you.

I was able to at least get them to convert / import if I started a new board using LucidSpark instead of converting an original LucidChart user story map. This was following some of the previous advice in other tickets with issues.

I am still encountering issues with converting to Jira sub-tasks when there was additional metadata required such as Fix Version or Sprint.

Hi @benh937

Thank you for your post! Could you try the following?

  • Can you try using jira cards in a Google Chrome Incognito browsing session. This often improves performance by clearing your cache and cookies and disabling your extensions.
  • If you are an admin, can you try the troubleshooting steps in this community post Community Post? If you are not an account owner or admin can you contact someone on your account to try these steps?

Hey @benh937,

Sorry to hear you are having difficulty getting the Lucid Cards for Jira integration to work. If you are still dealing with this, feel free to send me a DM and we can get a time set up to look into this on a quick call. That should help us narrow down the issue.

Best,
