Hello! I am trying to present a variety of user stories from a single ADO Project in LucidSpark. For many of the user stories, the integration is working perfectly - I’m able to leverage the live connection between ADO and Lucid, including utilizing the new timeline functionality, which is great.

However, for a handful of the ADO User Stories, I am receiving errors that I cannot resolve.

Here is one type of error:

Here is the other type of error:

I have attempted to:

  • Delete and reimport the cards
  • Make changes within ADO (status change, removing special characters) and reimport the cards
  • Link and Unlink my ADO account

Here is an anonymized view that shows roughly how many cards (of the same work item type - except for a couple bugs that are working properly, from the same ADO project) that are working vs. not working:

However, none of these resolves the issue on these problematic cards. Would love any help on this!

To add, here is one more error type that is not resolved by deleting and reimporting the item:

Hi @C_O, thanks for your post! I am sorry that you are experiencing trouble with Lucid Cards for Azure DevOps and I'll be happy to help.

We have just released a new version of the Azure DevOps integration that provides a more consistent experience.

Could you please confirm whether you have set up the new integration of Lucid Cards for Azure DevOps? If not, to resolve current issues, I recommend setting up the new integration and re-importing your ADO-linked cards into your board. Please note that existing boards using the old integration won't be updated retroactively, but the new setup should offer much better stability and added features moving forward.

This community post has information about migrating to the new Azure DevOps app.

The old Azure DevOps app will be deprecated by January 15, 2025 and it is recommend that you connect to the new app before then. When someone at your company has successfully imported a work item using the new app, the legacy app will be removed within a week or two, so ensure that you’re using the new app moving forward.

Let us know how it goes, cheers!

Thanks for the response! I believe we are connected to the new integration. I clicked through the Community post above and followed the instructions to get here (Integrate Lucid Cards with Azure DevOps Cloud – Lucid), noting that I can’t “Connect” to the integration as we’re already connected:

Hi @C_O ,

Thanks for getting back to me with that additional information! I believe you have identified a bug, and I have reported this to our development team. I apologize for any disruption this may cause, and I will update this thread with any new information about a fix. Please follow along on this thread for updates, and post any additional questions or concerns below.

Cheers!
