Question

Lucid as PWA or "Installed as App" unexpected behaviour

I’ve been using Lucid for some time as a PWA on my mac. It worked as expected. It behaves like a native application and this is really practical. For two weeks now when using it as a PWA I cannot open any document. When I launch the lucid app as a PWA. I can reach the home page and see only my documents but clicking on them does not produce any effect. They simply do not open.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall them as web app on Brave, Chrome and Safari and the behaviour is the same. I cannot open any document. This is a regression as it use to work as expected.

Hi @aroba, thank you for posting in the Lucid Community!

Could you please try the following steps and provide the following information in order for us to investigate the issue:

  • Opening Lucid in a regular browser window to see whether the issue is specific to the PWA?
  • Provide a screenshot of the issue or the error message that appears when trying to open a document.
  • Provide screenshot of the associated Javascript Console output after reproducing the issue. You can open your JavascriptConsole by pressing Ctrl+Shift+J (if your computer is a Windows/Linux) OR Cmd+Opt+J (if your computer is a Mac).

I appreciate your help and patience!

Hi Zuzia, Thanks for reaching out.

  • Opening Lucid in a regular browser window to see whether the issue is specific to the PWA? → The problem happens only when running from the PWA (Chrome, Brave and Safari).
  • Provide a screenshot of the issue or the error message that appears when trying to open a document. → Indeed when I double click on a document on the home page of lucid, when running in browser it opens on new tab. When doing the same from PWA I’m getting the attached error.
  • Provide screenshot of the associated Javascript Console output after reproducing the issue. You can open your JavascriptConsole by pressing Ctrl+Shift+J (if your computer is a Windows/Linux) OR Cmd+Opt+J (if your computer is a Mac).→ See the attached screen shot. This error raise when double clicking on document and nothing happen.

Ok I can’ seem to be able to post a screen shot neither on the the answer. I can see the image but I have an infinite spinning wheel and the image is never posted…

Best regards,

Alex
