Lucid AI – use of customer data for model training
Hi,
We’re currently reviewing our use of Lucid AI from a data protection and security perspective, as some of the information held within our Lucid environment may contain personal information.
I’ve reviewed both Lucids Terms of Service and Supplemental AI Terms. I can see that the Supplemental AI Terms confirm that Lucid does not permit third-party service providers to use Customer Data to improve or train AI models, which is reassuring.
There is just one point I’d like to get specific confirmation on.
Can anyone confirm that Lucid itself does not use Customer Data, Content, Inputs, Outputs or personal information to train, fine-tune or otherwise improve any Lucid-owned or Lucid-developed AI or machine-learning models?
Could you also please confirm how long Inputs and Outputs submitted through Lucid AI are retained by Lucid and its AI subprocessors?
Essentially, we want to be comfortable that enabling Lucid AI will not result in any of our company or personal data being used as training data, either by Lucid or by any third party.
