I recently encountered a serious issue while using Lucidchart in Chrome. Despite being connected to the internet, the editor consistently showed "Save Offline" status. After restarting my PC, I lost two days of work on my design diagrams with no prior warning from the browser.
I've noticed this issue appears to be Chrome-specific, as the same charts work properly when edited in Microsoft Edge.
This data loss has significantly impacted my work. Could you please:
Help me understand why this happened
Advise if there's any way to recover my lost work(I suppose no way to recover)
Provide guidance on preventing this issue in the future
Thank you for your assistance.

In order to understand why this happened, we’ll need to gather further data. I’ve seen a similar thing before where I wasn’t able to view embedded videos in Canvas on a Chrome browser, but it worked on Edge. Are you using Microsoft or Apple? Are you using desktop or laptop? Are you using a work computer or a home computer? Was the Chrome browser fully updated? (It does not update automatically.) Are you hardwired or on Wi-Fi? How many tabs were open at the time? Do you use tab groups? Did you clear the cookies and cache?
When I had that similar situation with Chrome it was because I was using it for work, and the IT Department decided for security reasons to disable Chrome and use only Microsoft Edge because people can use extensions on Chrome. To prevent this from happening in the future, I would recommend hardwiring and using Lucid on Chrome incognito if on a home computer or Microsoft Edge if you’re on a work computer (with cleared cookies/cache), with all other tabs closed. This is because every tab takes up memory and the more memory the computer needs, the less the Wi-Fi will work optimally. My main browser is Chrome, but I too have learned that certain sites only work or only work optimally on Safari (e.g., Ally, FreshBooks) or Edge (e.g., Canvas).
